My mom is visiting from East Coast time, therefore she is asleep while I watch the Michael Buble Christmas special on NBC. I love his rendition of this song.

Never thought I would become a fan. woops.

I don't think anything can get you into the mood of Christmas, quite like this next video. I implore you to make yourself a cup of tea, snuggle up with some blankets and bask in the soft light of your tree. I give you... A puppy rendition of the classic "Twas the Night Before Christmas."

Some sort of clip or song everyday to get us into the Christmas spirit.

Last year I did this for just a few days leading up till christmas, and it was a lot of fun. So I'm going to try and do it again.

"The time is now, The place is Here, and The whole wide world is full of cheer"

Nice.

craigslist.

Isn't it a gem! No wonder I have friends who are obsessed with checking craigslist over and over.

Here are some of my finds:

We found this dresser and mirror set right before Viola was born. It was such a good deal at $160 for both. It's a pretty big dresser and the mirror is just precious. We couldn't be happier with it. (ok so one day I'd rather it be refinished) Doesn't Vi look so cute up there? Our friend Jennifer Jasso took her newborn photos with the dresser as one of her backdrops.

We decided to cloth diaper for multiple reasons. (I'll blog about that later) One of the biggest reasons, if not the biggest, was the price. We just couldn't stand the idea of spending that much money on diapers only to throw them away. On a whim I looked up the brand of diapers I liked and ta da! I found 4 absolutely new diapers for only $10 each! (brand new they are about $17 each)

Viola's favorite purchase from craigslist so far has been the bumbo. Brand new... with a tray is about $45-50. I got it with a tray for $25. As you can see... its a hit.

The most recent thing bought is Viola's new crib. I can't wait to get it together and post about it! It was exactly what I wanted.

Are you obsessed with craigslist? What gems have you scored?
